Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 14, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Jurist-Diction.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Not Legal Advice

Jurist-Diction provides legal document templates and information for general informational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice, creates an attorney-client relationship, or should be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a qualified attorney licensed in your jurisdiction.

3. Purchases and Payments

All one-time document purchases are final upon delivery. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

4. Refunds

One-time purchases are eligible for a full refund within 30 days if the documents cannot be used for their stated purpose. Subscription refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Refund requests must be submitted to support@jurist-diction.com.

5. Subscriptions and Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused subscription time unless required by applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including document templates, guides, and software, is owned by or licensed to JuristDiction, Inc. You may use purchased documents for personal legal purposes only. Resale, redistribution, or commercial use of our templates without written permission is prohibited.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that documents will be accepted by any court or government agency, or that they are free from errors. Use of our documents is at your own risk.

7A. Court Rejection Protocol

Courts may reject documents for reasons unrelated to content, including but not limited to: filing fee non-payment, missing judge assignment, local cover-sheet requirements, or procedural errors made by the filer. If a court rejects a document you purchased from us, you should: (1) obtain the rejection notice or clerk's written reason; (2) review the rejection reason against the filing instructions included in your packet; (3) contact support@jurist-diction.com with the rejection notice attached. We will review the reason and, if the rejection results from a defect in our template or instructions (not a filer error), we will provide a corrected document at no charge. Refund eligibility for court-rejected documents is governed by our Refund Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JuristDiction, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Camden County, New Jersey.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
