We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, billing address, and payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details). We also collect usage data including pages visited, documents purchased, and browser/device information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: process payments and deliver documents, send order confirmations and receipts, provide customer support, improve our services, and send relevant product updates (you may opt out at any time).

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Supabase (secure document storage), and Vercel (hosting infrastructure). All partners are bound by data processing agreements.

4. Data Security

We use AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS for data in transit. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel only. We undergo regular security reviews.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email support@jurist-diction.com. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for security (CSRF protection) and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect site functionality.

7. Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by law. You may request deletion of your account data at any time.

8. Children

Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Security Incident Notification

In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected individuals within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach (where feasible), consistent with GDPR Article 33 and applicable U.S. state breach notification laws. Notification will be provided via email to your registered address and may include: the nature of the breach, categories of data affected, likely consequences, and steps we are taking to mitigate harm.
