Not Sure Which Stage You're In?

Stage 1 (Pre-Foreclosure): You received a notice from your lender but have NOT been served with a lawsuit. The notice may say "Default," "Acceleration," or "Intent to Foreclose."

Stage 2 (Lawsuit Filed): You were personally served with court papers, including a "Complaint" and "Summons." The papers will have a case number and court name.
